Vale of Glamorgan Senior Football League Round Up

A weather decimated league schedule saw only a handful of games played.

SP Billy failed to close the gap on leaders Sully Sports as Cogan Coronation won 2-0 over SP. The result puts Cogan fourth after Tynewydd lost 2-1 to Cadoxton Atheltic. Down the bottom of Division One Penarth Town B edged out Cadoxton Imps 3-2.

In Division Two, St Athan B picked up their second win of the season to defeat Vale Madrid 3-1. Llantwit Major leap frog Vale Madrid into second place as they continued their perfect record with a 5-0 hammering of BV.
In SWFA Cup action, the Vale’s interest in the cup is now over as all three remaining Vale clubs crashed out. Island Marine lost out 6-2 to AFC Whitchurch, Cardiff Airport were thrashed 5-0 by Cwm Welfare, while Vale United narrowly lost out to Penrhiwceiber Cons 2-1.
