The brand new Vale of Glamorgan football league season gets underway on Saturday 12th August and it’s promising to be the most competitive for years.
After last seasons dominance by unbeaten Holton Road, this seasons Premier Division looks wide open with each team capable of beating each other on the day. However, the early preseason favourites look to be Barry Athletic and FC Barry (following their ASRS Cup win last weekend), but this league could spring in a few surprises this season.
In the Championship, it promises to be a battle for promotion with Cogan Coronation, Cwm Talwg, Tynewydd and outright favourites Cadoxton Imps leading the way as frontrunners.
But of course, it’s a new season, a clean slate and it’s all to play for, Saturday 12th it’s back!! Look out for the round up after tomorrows games.
