Holton Road took full advantage of leaders AFC Rhoose’s game with Cadoxton Imps falling foul to the weather, by closing the gap at the top to just one point with a 5-2 win over Tynewydd. Despite coming back from 2 goals down, Tynny succumbed to their first defeat in four, Dan Morgan notched four goals for Holton Road with Ryan Hales getting the other. Holton Road now sit one point behind Rhoose with two games in hand.
St Athan moved back up to third with a hard fought 3-1 win over Cogan Coronation, their first win in three.

Island Marine went fourth with a 2-1 win at Cwrt Y Vil against Penarth Town. Marine have three games in hand on the league leaders and they are right in this title race.

Cardiff Airport picked up their first league win after seven straight defeats, and they did in some style with a 4-0 victory over Cowbridge Town. The result moves Airport up spot to ninth.

In Division One, it was was a great day for leaders AFC Rhoose B and they didn’t even play. Barry Vikings lost ground on the leaders as they slipped to their first loss in nine league games with Rhoose Social coming out victorious 2-1.

Further good news for Rhoose B was that Cadoxton Barry were held to a thrilling 4-4 draw away at Island Marine. Both results means Rhoose B are now seven points ahead of BV and eleven ahead of Caddy Barry, having played a game more than BV and two more than Caddy Barry.

Barry Athletic B opened up their year with a 3-1 win over Holton Road B and moved you to seventh in the league. Cwm Talwg moved nineth with a thumping 7-0 win over Vale Madrid at Burnham Avenue, making it two successive wins to start the year.

And finally, SP Billy continued their perfect start to 2020 with a second straight win, they came out 4-2 winners over St Athan B.
