Vale of Glamorgan Football League Round Up 14/10
- Tynewydd produced the cup upset of the round as the championship leaders dumped AFC Rhoose out of the Barry Cup. Nathan Donnelly starring as Tynewydd came out 6-4 winners over last years finalists.
- Olly Tipples tore through Cwm Talwg with a hat trick and two assists as Barry Athletic thumped the championship side 8-1 at the Athletic Ground to advance
- FC Barry went through in an all Premier Division clash with a 4-1 victory over Vale United and will now play Barry Athletic in the next round.
- Vale Madrid set up a quarter final tie with Cardiff Airport as they romped to an 8-1 win over Porthkerry Panthers, Sam Robinson hitting a hat trick.
- Penarth Town won the derby against Cogan Coronation in the most dramatic way. Penarth were 3-2 down with ten minutes to go, but Mikey Winton levelled from the spot and then Rhys Knight scored the winner in the last minute.
- St Athan progressed with a 4-0 win over Championship side Rhoose Social, and set up a quarter final against Tynewydd.
- Island Marine defeated Vale Athletic 4-1 at Bryn Y Don with Ellis Howe scoring a brace to send Marine through to play Penarth in the quarter finals.
- In the championship Cadoxton Imps walloped bottom side St Athan Thirds 11-2 and Barry Athletic Reserves edged out Peterston Super Ely.
