Cowbridge Town picked up their first point of the season against Tynewydd in a 2-2 draw at the Bear Field. After going out of the Senior Cup last week on penalties, it was ironically a last minute penalty kick that secured the point for Town. Tom Parsons bagging both of Tynny’s goals.

In Division One, the match of the day lived up to its billing as leaders AFC Rhoose B played out an exciting 2-2 draw with Barry Vikings. It’s the first points dropped by Rhoose B since the opening day who are now six points ahead of second place Cadoxton Barry and seven ahead of third place Vikings, but both sides have two games in hand.

Island Marine B bounced back from last weeks routing with a comfortable 4-2 triumph over StAthan B, the win keeps Marine B fourth.

Barry Athletic B pocked up an impressive 4-0 win over Rhoose Social, Socials first league defeat since August and Athletic B’s second consecutive win, scoring a phenomenal 15 goals in two matches, moving them up to sixth.

And finally, after weeks and weeks of trying to get the game played due to the weather, Island Marine advanced in the SWFA Senior Cup with a 4-2 win over Church Village. Island Marine now play Llantwit Fardre of the Alliance League.
