Cardiff Airport stunned second place Holton Road with a comprehensive 3-0 victory on Saturday. Airport notched their second win on the bounce to move up to fifth after not having won for five games before that. Airport took a first half lead through Criddle and then a quick fire two early in the second half from Williams and Stradling handed Airport an impressive win.

Cogan Coronation shocked Cadoxton Barry 1-0 away at Bryn Y Don. Harris’ goal on 65 minutes saw Cogan take all three points for the first time in eight league games as Cadoxton Barry go three games without a win, Cogan leapfrog BV into 8th position.

AFC Rhoose eased past BV 3-1 at the Butts, BV led at half time from Ingrham’s early strike but Rhoose hit back in the second period with a brace from Bryan and one from Bagnell. Rhoose sit in third now and must be eyeing runners up spot as they sit 6 points behind Holton Road with three games in hand, and now in top form.

In Division One, Holton Road B completed their league season with a 3-2 win over Island Marine B. Scott gave Marine the lead before Angove levelled for the hosts, both sides were reduced to ten men on the hour but then Angove put Holton in front and then Colston made it 3-1 before Robertson struck late on for Marine but Holton B held on. Holton Road B sit in third but the three teams below them will be hoping to take that third spot with games in hand.

Rhoose Social were held 2-2 at home by St Athan B. Baker gave St Athan B the lead before Owens levelled right before half time. Sammarco restored St Athan B’s lead and Social needed a 93rd minute equaliser from Good to rescue a point in their chase for third.

Vale Athletic moved above Rhoose Social into fourth as they came from a goal down to beat St Athan C 5-1. Harries gave St Athan C a surprise early lead but Lewis and Dite put Athletic in front before half time, second half goals from Warden and a double from Chapman saw Athletic ease to the points.

Vale United demolished Vale Madrid with a clinical display, Evans, James, Bluck, Rowlands, Chamberlain, Dingle with the goals with Evans pulling a solitary consolation back for Vale Madrid. Vale United another side who will be targeting that third spot.
