Vale of Glamorgan Football League Round Up 6/11

The Premier Division title race was blown wide open as Cogan Coronation firstly turned the form book upside down to stun Penarth Town 5-4 at The Rec. Penarth raced into 1-4 lead but Cogan produced a stunning first fight back and Jack Preston got the winner three minutes from time for their first win in five games.

Holton Road closed the gap on Penarth at the top to four points with a game in hand as they edged AFC Rhoose 2-1, Shaun Jachontow hitting a dramatic late winner.

Island Marine continued their good form as the reigning champions climbed up to third with a dominant 4-0 victory over BV.

In Division One, leaders Sully Sports were made to work for their win against Island Marine B and came out with a 3-2 victory to stay top on goal difference.

Cwm Talwg continue to keep pace with Sully at the top after they came back from a goal down to win 2-1 at St Athan B.

St Athan C picked up their second win of the season as they grabbed a late winner from Rob Kemp to take all three points, with a 2-1 victory over BV Reserves.
