Vale of Glamorgan Senior Football League Round Up 

Premier Division leaders Barry Athletic needed a last gasp equaliser from Connor Caton to salvage a point against bottom side Cowbridge Town in a 1-1 draw. Athletic stay top of the league, two points ahead of St Athan who trounced Penarth Town 5-1 with Craig Howells bagging a treble, St Athan do have a game in hand on the leaders. FC Barry Belgrade edged out Island Marine 3-2 to go third, Belgrade now two points off second having played two games less.

In Division One, Sully Sports continued to dominate as they picked up a 2-0 derby victory over Cogan Coronation. The win keeps Sully undefeated and seven points clear of SP Billy. SP kept in touch with the leaders after coming from behind to defeat Penarth Town B 5-2, Lee Carter, Steven Coxon and Richard Drew the goal scorers. Cwm Talwg picked up their first win since August over the same opposition as that last win, as they downed Cadoxton Imps 5-2 with goals courtesy of James Morrison, Luke Brody Miles and Josh Kirke. Cardiff Airport and Tynewydd played out a goalless draw.

In Division Two, bottom side
Glenbrook picked up their very first points of the season and their first league win in a year and they did in some fashion as they completely demolished St Athan B 8-1. League leaders Cadoxton Barry won by an usual scoreline of 10-3 as Kai Ingram notched 5 goals against BV. The result puts Cadoxton Barry five points clear of Vale Madrid after they drew 3-3 with BRT Dynamos, Mitchell Thomas, Cole Roberts and Joseph Hewings getting the goals for Dynamos. Max Morgan grabbed a hat trick as Llantwit Major continued their 100% record with a mammoth 8-2 win over Barry Albion, Major sit third and seven points off top with three games in hand. Finally, Island Marine B and Rhoose B played out a 1-1 draw with Chris Scott and Liam Butcher getting the goals respectively.

Next week sees Island Marine represent the league in the SWFA Senior Cup. In league action game of the day looks like being in division one as SP Billy play Cogan. Check back here next week for a full round up.
