In the Premier Division Penarth Town produced an fine result to win 3-2 away to Barry Athletic. St Athan also produced a great result on their travels, edging Rhoose 1-0. The results keep the pressure on still undefeated Vale United who made it eight wins out of eight in all competitions with a 2-0 victory away to Dinas Powys Athletic. Island Marine notched their first win of the season with an impressive 5-1 league win over Masons Moving Group who find themselves bottom of the table.

In the first division Barry Athletic B went back to the top with a mammoth 10-0 drubbing of bottom side Glenbrook. FC Pumas got back to winning way after two draws, winning 6-1 against Cadoxton Barry to go second. Cogan were victorious 3-1 against Dockers, that’s two on the bounce in the league for the first division champions but Dockers without a win in three. Cadoxton Athletic came out 6-4 winners against Sully in an entertaining game in somewhat of an upset, an tremendous win for Athletic.

In Division Two an incredible fifteen goals were scored in one game, in the battle of the Saints, Barry Saints won 10-5 away to St Athan B. BVFC bounced back from a massive defeat in the cup last week to edge Penarth B 3-2, halting Towns run of four wins in a row. Barry Albion had lost five in a row in the league but they battled to a 3-3 draw against Island Marine B, their indifferent form continuing. Finally in the battle of the bottom two, Rhoose B and Pumas B played out a 1-1 draw.
