Earlier in the evening Mark Pickering was awarded the Paul Lewis Second Team Player of the Year award. The midfielder rewarded for his industry in the middle of the park all season. Pickering edged out Aaron Rogers in the voting with Gaz Richards, Nicky Cleave and Liam Burgess also receiving votes.
Paul Wolfe kicked off precedings by presenting Aaron Rogers with Second Team Managers Player of the Year, Rogers took the award after a season of fine leadership and hard working performances up front and in midfield.
Josh Morgan finished the season as top scorer for the first team with Josh Howells taking the accolade for the seconds.
Morgan was involved again in a deadheat with Pickering in the ‘downing the beer out of the trophy’ between the two players of the year in a hotly contested match up between the youngster and the veteran.
